It’s finally here! Canyoning in Skull Canyon is our newest and most challenging outdoor adventure activity yet. Pre-booking has been open since August and we’re starting to take trips out this month! If you’re as excited as we are, you can book your activity now.

In a secret location, you won’t be able to explore Skull Canyon with any other outdoor activity provider in the Lake District. It’s completely unique to Keswick Adventures and we’re excited to help you experience the thrills and adrenaline rushes that await!

Beginning with a semi-strenuous 40-minute walk to the start of the route, we will then change into our wetsuits before completely disappearing into the mountain in the deep crevice that is Skull Canyon.

This is a place for true adventurers. Hidden away from all life other than your small group, the towering rocky sides and flowing water make you feel as though you’ve escaped the world. You can expect your usual gorge scrambling excitement including water crossings, lots of abseiling, and zip wiring down sections of the canyon! Everything is on a much larger scale than our other popular route down Commando Canyon.

This is a truly adult experience and is only suitable for relatively fit adventurers aged 18 and up, making it perfect for groups of friends, adult families, corporate groups, hen dos and stag parties.

(If you have younger members in your party who are keen to have their own adventure, we can take ages 12+ canyoning in Commando Caynon or ages 7+ can come ghyll scrambling with us.)
