Lake kayaking
When you’re kayaking on Derwentwater, you will get to experience one of the most stunning lakes in the Lake District. Surrounded by the towering mountains of Borrowdale and the Newlands Valley, with Keswick town on its northern shores, this really is a location that you’ll go home still dreaming about!
River kayaking
Keswick is home to several wonderful winding waterways leading to and from the lake. On a river kayaking adventure you’ll be partly carried along by the gentle flow of the water. Look out for wildlife on the banks and in the river itself, and listen to the stories and information from our knowledgeable local guides who will point out areas of interest.
Please note that river kayaking is not available at all times due to weather and legal restrictions.
