Coming Soon: Commando Canyon
Lake District canyoning enthusiasts can get excited again for another NEW canyon coming soon to Keswick Adventures!
Earlier this month we added Skull Canyon to our list of adrenaline-pumping outdoor activities. In a secret Lake District location, the feedback so far has been amazing. Jack gave us a five star rating on TripAdvisor:
Excellent experience canyoning this afternoon. Great staff who looked after us, were good company and let us make the most of our afternoon. The canyoning was great fun and the gear was top notch and kept us warm.
So it goes without saying that we can’t wait to bring you even more canyoning fun with Commando Canyon! We’re moving further east this time where the grand mountains of the Lake District meet the tranquil rolling hills of the Eden Valley. It’ll be an amazing experience in a different landscape with all the excitement and adrenaline you’ve come to expect from our outdoor activities.
About Canyoning
You’ve probably heard of ghyll scrambling and gorge walking. Canyoning is the more extreme version of both of these adventures. You follow a river through a deep canyon where you’ll come across tumbling waterfalls, crystal clear pools, narrow ledges and sheer rock faces. With the use of zip wires, harnesses, and ropes, you jump, abseil and slide down the route until you emerge at the foot of the mountain.
It’s an amazing experience that is a must-do for any adventurer visiting the Lake District.
