2. What do I need for ghyll scrambling

You will need a wetsuit and helmet for ghyll scrambling, which we provide. You will also need laced shoes you don't mind getting wet and a bathing costume to wear under the wetsuit. You should bring a towel and a dry set of clothes and shoes for afterwards.

Ghyll scrambling, sometimes called gorge scrambling or gorge walking, involves going up or down a mountain stream. You are in the water for most of the experience and will often swim through pools, slide down waterfalls and scramble over rocks.
