Activities for teenagers and younger children
It can be hard finding something to do that your whole family will enjoy. Whether you’re visiting Keswick with teenagers who’d rather be at home, with little ones who have never experienced an outdoor adventure, or with a mixture of both, we’ll have them all grinning from ear to ear by the end of the day. With a wide choice of family-friendly activities in the great outdoors, you’ll be able to pick something that’s fun for everyone. Safety first
Your number one priority will be making sure your family is safe at all times. That’s our focus too, which is why you’ll be provided with top quality kit that’s regularly checked and maintained. Safety equipment is there to make sure everyone is protected and kept warm throughout the adventure. Before every activity, you’ll be kitted out with helmet, life jacket, and super warm padded wetsuits by Seland.
You’ll also be accompanied by one or more instructors (depending on group size). Each member of our team is highly trained and is regularly out and about on activities. That means we have lots of experience both around the Lake District and across the UK and abroad. We keep our skills refreshed when we’re on adventures daily, and also attend regular formal training to ensure our skills are top-notch.
Although it’s extremely rare that anything goes wrong, you can rest easy knowing that your family will be in the best possible hands at all times.
Once safety is taken care of, then you’re free and easy to have plenty of fun as you slide through river gorges, glide across rivers, and maybe take a dip in the lake!
