Great for families, stag dos, hen parties, school groups and corporate clients alike, raft building is a fun, competitive activity against the clock. At Derwentwater lakeside near Keswick in the Lake District, you’ll be provided with some basic materials. With these, you’ll need to work together with your team to put together a successful raft that will float and carry everyone on it. Our instructors are on hand to help, or you can go at it without their support and really put yourself to the test.
Raft building can be enjoyed as a single group, or multiple groups to see who makes the best and most water-worthy raft!

Raft building is for the competitive amongst you! Design and build your own raft using the equipment provided before setting sail on a beautiful Lake District lake to test it out. It's truly a case of sink or swim (or float in this case)! Why not challenge each other to a raft race? No cheating, mind!
Whether you’re competing against friends or taking part in an exciting team building exercise, raft building is great fun for all involved!
