We at Keswick Adventures are very excited this year to be sponsoring and taking part inGelt Gladiator, raising money for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw while we're at it.
About Gelt Gladiator
Gelt Gladiator is a challenging mud run full of obstacles and takes place just outside Carlisle, Cumbria on the 13th and 14th of June 2026. There will be all sorts of challenges for participants to get past, all while covered in slippery mud. Expect climbing ropes, mud pits, water-filled tunnels, mud walls, and much more. It promises to be very mucky, and very fun.
We'll be sponsoring one of these intimidating obstacles, though we're not sure which one just yet. We'll keep you updated once we have more information!
We're also going to be taking part ourselves. Two of the Keswick Adventures team will be taking on the challenge (cheered on by the rest of us). We haven't decided exactly who gets to do it yet, but when we do, you can be sure we'll be giving them plenty of training in the ghyll, across the lake, and up the mountains. Fortunately, the Lake District and our adventure activities make for the perfect training ground!
