Outdoor adventure trips can be some of the best and most memorable experiences for kids during their time at school. That's why we go out of our way to provide a really special adventure. Whether it’s canoeing, raft building or ghyll scrambling, get them all together for a day of fun, learning and bonding!
Safety, kit and instructors
Safety is the first priority on all of our outdoor adventures, which means that everyone can then relax and have loads of fun. Your school group will be guided by the Keswick Adventures team, which is made up of highly experienced instructors. We’ll provide vital safety support and guidance, as well as gentle encouragement and bags of enthusiasm.
As well as trained instructors, the whole group will be kitted out with all the relevant equipment, which usually includes a helmet, life jacket, and extra warm wetsuit and gloves from Seland. All kit is of the best quality and is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure it’s always in tip-top condition. Even on the coldest days, every student will stay warm and toasty!
Outdoor activities for school groups
Whether you're looking for a weekend's worth of activities or a few hours of adrenaline-packed fun, our bespoke school trips can be tailored to meet the needs of children aged 5 and upwards (dependent on activity and number of accompanying adults). Teenagers and tots alike will leave with huge grins on their faces and plenty to tell their friends and family about!
Children of all ages and abilities will be challenged and stimulated through our wide range of activities. No one is left behind as we splash, slide and paddle around Keswick and the Lake District!
