Keswick Adventures’ Round-Up of the Year 2022

Another year is coming to a close so it’s time to look back on 2022 and celebrate the amazing times we’ve had with customers, staff and friends. It’s been another 12 months of ups and downs politically and economically, but we’ve had an amazing time sharing our beautiful Lake District with you all.

Bring on next year and even more amazing outdoor adventures in Keswick!

Keswick Adventures Ale

Keswick Adventures Ale at Craft Beer Keswick

We’ve always loved sitting down with clients and having a pint on the top of a mountain after a hard day’s adventuring. So, we thought, why not create our very own Keswick Adventures Ale? And in summer this year, that’s exactly what we did!

Working together with a local brewery, our beer is now available for post-adventure relaxation, and can also be bought at Keswick’s very own Craft Beer shop.

Stroke Association Memorial Walk up Scafell Pike

Walkers with Stroke Association Banner on Scafell Pike

We occasionally run guided walks in the Lake District, and this one was particularly special. The walk was arranged by the family of Adam Bosher, who suffered a fatal stroke in 2020. The outdoorsman had wanted to climb Scafell Pike but sadly never made it, so his family and friends did it in his honour.

The occasion could have been a solemn one, but with bright blue skies, balmy weather, and a large group of amazing people, it was the celebratory event that it deserved to be. The walk raised over £3,500 for the Stroke Association and we know our friend Adam would have been immensely proud to see everyone coming together for him.

Military Stealth Team Days

Man zip wiring in the Lake District

We knew that we didn’t want our group and team building activities to be your standard outdoor tasks with ropes and sticks. That’s why we introduced amazing Military Stealth Team Days to really challenge and excite.

These have proved a huge hit amongst corporate clients, stag dos and even Crossfit gyms, with loads of competitive and motivated people stepping up to the challenge. Each event is a little bit different, but all involve pushing the group to the limit.

Based around the northern Lake District, we take groups out for river crossings, cliff face zip-wiring, water submersion and mountain hikes. These events are not for the faint-hearted, and we can’t wait for even more challenges in 2023!

Group canoeing on Derwentwater in summer

We were delighted once again to receive TripAdvisor’s coveted Traveller’s Choice Award for amazing customer service and experiences. This is based on the incredible reviews you leave us on the site: we currently have nearly 700, with all but a handful rating us Excellent!

So a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to leave us a review and helped us achieve this incredible award for another year. And if you haven’t left us a testimonial yet, we’d love it if you could take 5 minutes to do so. Every positive review helps us reach more people and show them an amazing time in the Lake District!
