If the weather’s a bit wet or you just fancy a break from the outdoors, Keswick also has plenty of indoor activities. The town boasts two local museums, a theatre, Art Deco cinema, Puzzling Place, and lots of shops. There are also stately homes nearby, as well as forest walks at Whinlatter and Dodd Wood, which will keep you sheltered.
