We are a family-run outdoor activity and adventure provider based in Keswick in the heart of the Lake District. With over 20 years of experience, Keswick Adventures offers a range of exciting outdoor activities and things to do across the national park. And, with our sister companies, North East Adventures and Hydrospeeding UK, we are able to offer outdoor adventures across the North East too!

Who are we?

Driven by a passion for adventure activities, Lee Simpson set up Keswick Adventures to share his enthusiasm and vast knowledge with others. And, after many years of running adventure activities across the UK and Europe, where better to set up than in Keswick, the adventure capital of the Lake District? As part of a local, family-run business, the team at Keswick Adventures knows all about the local area and offers that unique personal style to your day out.

Keswick Adventures now offers a range of outdoor and indoor adventure activities across Keswick, Borrowdale, the Newlands Valley and Derwentwater, combining exciting experiences with enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors, beautiful scenery, and the best equipment available.

Meet The Team

Lee Simpson

Lee has spent many years running adventure activities across the UK and Europe. He set up Keswick Adventures to share his enthusiasm and vast knowledge with others so that they could make the most of the outdoor activities on offer in the beautiful Lake District.

Becca Newton

Becca is our booking coordinator, photographer and assistant instructor. Having grown up in Keswick, Becca knows all the hidden gems and can usually be found wandering the fells with her dogs, Buddy and Roman. Becca, camera in tow, will capture your smiles and help you cherish those memories forever.

Pete Harvey

Pete is a fantastic, enthusiastic instructor who brings energy and passion to every class. When he’s not teaching, you’ll always find him exploring the great outdoors! His adventurous spirit and love for the job inspires everyone he teaches.

Roman & Buddy

Roman and Buddy are the Keswick Adventures dogs! Joining in with a number of outdoor activities, they're here to put a smile on your face and give you a good splash if you stay on dry land for too long!
