Read our latest Covid-19 update here.

We’re delighted to announce that, following Government guidelines, we will be restarting our adventure activities on Saturday the 6th of June 2020.

There will be some limitations in place to ensure the safety of our customers and instructors, and we will be taking extra measures to limit the risk of spreading Coronavirus. These will include:

  • Maximum group sizes of 5, plus an instructor.
  • A distance of 2 metres will be maintained at all times except in the case of an emergency.
  • All of our equipment will be thoroughly washed and/or quarantined for at least 72 hours after each use.

As all of the activities we are running from the 6th of June will be based outside, there is a very low risk of transmission of the virus. The wonderfully clean air and waters of the Lake District, too, mean that this is a great way of getting some exercise and letting off a bit of steam with minimal risk to your health or to the health of others. However, if you are showing or have recently shown any of the symptoms of Coronavirus, please stay at home and isolate in line with Government guidelines.

You should only book an activity if you are able to travel to the Lake District and back home again within the same day. No bed & breakfasts, holiday cottages, hotels, or camping facilities are open and you are not allowed to stay overnight anywhere other than your own home. Wild camping and staying in your own motor home are also not allowed.

If you are travelling from outside of Cumbria, please also be sensitive to people who live locally and avoid putting undue pressure on local amenities such as grocery stores by bringing your own food and supplies from home. Please also take any rubbish home – it has been sad to see rubbish left in so many beauty spots and we want to encourage everyone to keep the Lake District beautiful by cleaning after themselves.

We look forward to taking you out for a fun and safe adventure in the Lake District. Browse all of our outdoor activities and get in touch for more information or to book your adventure.

We’ll see you soon!
